Alcoholics Anonymous (AA): First, AA Was Spawned, Then the Demon Seed Brought Forth NA and the TWO Begot EA.

The nuts don't fall far from the tree. The 12 Steps of Emotions Anonymous. Where do they find idiots to join these groups? It isn't mandated by the court systems... YET.

1. We admitted we were powerless over our emotions — that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

E.A. claims to cure, or "help"

problems as diverse as depression, anger, broken or strained relationships, grief, anxiety, low self-esteem, panic, abnormal fears, resentment, jealousy, guilt, despair, fatigue, tension, boredom, loneliness, withdrawal, obsessive and negative thinking, worry, compulsive behavior and a variety of other emotional issues".

What they are describing are mental problems that should be treated by a properly trained and licensed psychiatrist.

When their members commit suicide, why aren't the sponsors charged with felony fraud, quackery, and practicing medicine without a license?

Here in Thailand,we read about the changes in Pot laws.It is a big step against the Pharma industry as so many can simply light up,instead of taking valium .or xanex and when i heard about the 3 toke paralyzer and how cancer patients can smoke for pain relief ,I felt good.There will be so many changes these next 30-50 years.We are seeing the beginning of a new age.When the greenhouse hits-thye will be too busy trying to stay alive to waste mega trillions for useles wars.
Here in t-land;there is one group that is determined to create war with Cambodia. I will [hopefully]have a paid job working against them as Prem has taught me a lot about PEACE.USArmy a lot about WAR.
In this Buddhist country Aa is trying to present itself as non-denominational--ie not a Chrstian front group.yet again and again I have been attacked at AA meetings for being an f---ing Buddhist.
"There are 2 kinds of people f---ing a---s and Christians.But what I was taught about Christ as a child is nowhere close to the disease practised here.i actually heard one Thai from a Swedish group telling me about how blacks are supposed to be slaves because of Shem,Ham and Japheth.The standard racist verses that were thrown out over a century ago in the USA. I laughed cause he is light brown and believes that he could attend a Klu KLux Clan meeting and be accepted cause he's light skinned.The new racist wars are between the lighter skinned and the darker skinned peoples.God and ignorance are both infinite.
I read the E.A book years ago and could not believe that anyone would want to be freee from emotion.But I have seen in AA that for so many it is a way to escape from having to feel anything another way to deaden the senses and to stay mentally drunk,dumb.unconscious while alive w/o alcohol.
what Prem teaches is that consciousness is the only thing needed for a happy life.Be awake alive and aware.Well it's morning and I want to go inside of myself -see some light,hear some music and feel that love that is real and eternal.AA is just starting here and the possibility of warning them that this is pseudo Christain crap is so easy and will stop them early in the game.One psychiatrist,here. said to me AA hass only a3% success rate.Imagine a surgeon who lost 97 0f 100 tonsilectomies to death.3% of his patients lived??
Better to light one CANDLE than to curse the darkness.

The reason ideology like this continues is the same reason why two plus two can equal five. It's not because it's logical (mathematically); it's because it's convenient for someones ego and desires.

Because of step 12 some idiot will always be promoting this cult. The way forward is more and more exposure of the harm done by these people, preferably more and more TV documentaries on the lies scaremongering and predation that is rife in this cult
