I see massive already has it on her site. Will mirror at exposeAA. People need to be aware this is happening.

considering the poor psycology of 12 step programs.

aa and na are very emotionally repressive. they use to say...."fuck your feelings - work the steps". and all sorts of seemingly helpful variations that actually insinuate that people are wrong flawed, or un-spiritual for being upset. a lot of it comes from rehab counselors who just want to control clients. because they are bothered by upset feelings cause they never felt through their own. its hard to sit there and watch it, it makes me want to scream...but then they point at you and say look at him - he is negative. lol. and the books promote emotional repression pg 90 12&12 etc. so you're trapped in an upside down world. and the slogan "take what you like and leave the rest" - only gives you two options - their way or nothing. yep it IS a miracle if anyone gets sober.

If I could moderate, I'd do it alot!

there are some really weirdo stories about Gay sponsor taking advantage of new gay men in west hollywood. It will be interesting to see how the truth comes out.

Everyone needs to know that AA and NA and all 12 step programs have no one in charge in each group, that there are no trained facilitators of any kind, and that includes SPONSORS, that the secretaries running the group could also be an oldtimer predator of sorts and are also not trained and that 12 step program/meetings are NOT A PROFESSIONAL SETTING of ANY KIND! This is not the first murder like this. The following story needs to be told and NA and AA need to make safety measures for their own members and they also need to tell Hollywood to stop lying about what goes on in 12 step meetings and it’s culture. We are getting alot of complaints here about controlling and abusive sponsors. The Public at Large needs to know that a Sponsor is just an ordinary AA/NA member. They are not trained, they are not professionals, they could be nuts, they could be scammers, they could be sexual predators. Not only are there NO RULES, no Guidelines or polices in the current AA structure, there is a serious covering up and member on member abuse and non support when an oldtimer abuses a newer person. Not that this is what happened here. We dont know, but we are tired of the opposite approach of giving the credit to AA and NA as if it is some special safe and wonderful place WHICH IT IS NOT!!!

are nothing more than cult brainwashed people that think they know all about recovery and are often control freaks that can intrude in peoples lives and order people around. Sponcers are elevated to a guru status in the hierarcy of the cult and are in an excellent position to scare and brainwash newcomers to the cult.

That is very true, if you notice there are similarities in this case that often play out in AA. Charles Michael Middleton was the NA Sponsor and was 20 years older than his NA Sponcee Christopher Paul Huffman. They both lived for a short time in the very trendy Sedgefield community of Southern Charlotte, North Carolina.

Also, sponsors sometimes inappropriately "fall in love" with you, move away, or simply vanish off the face of the earth. Well, it happened "in my group"...

They like to relapse too. I think just to get attention.
