Midtown still meeting
Well, that's encouraging. Alas, the sexual-exploitation club "Midtown Group" meetings are still being held nearby. Scroll down to the bottom of this list:

What I hear is that the pastor of the church is something like the brother-in-law of one of the high-ranking lieutenants of the Midtown Group, so he continues to allow them to meet in his church.

Why was the meeting ever held? AA does not work, except to indoctrinate people into a culty religious organization that will probably cause people more harm than good.
More of these damn meetings need to close!!

I think there are several meetings that need to die in my
community, but they just wont, they just continue to wither. Lack of leadership rotation is one thing that kills meetings in my opinion. Some meetings just hang on for years. I used to go to meetings in a building that had a few meetings in it. The building was torn down, so most of the meetings just moved to a new location, that was why I asked the question.

Read the whole article that was in NEWS WEEK from 2007 if you can find it. Midtown was the reasons Paul C wrote his letter to the AA board in 2008. Old AA men were having sex with teenagers
