Interestingly enough the Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Triennial Survey has not been released by Alcoholics Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. (AAWS) from the Interchurch for any years past 2007. On April 11, 2011 they did release an updated version of the 2007 Triennial Survey but with apparently no new data (i.e. http://www.aa.org/pdf/products/p-48_07survey.pdf).
Why haven't the newest results for AA membership been released for the last 5 years?
The case of the missing AA Triennial Surveys have been covered many times before on the Orange Forum without any definitive answer on what happened to them.....

As you can see from the comments in the above links, even the devout AA trolls can't come up with a reason for the Triennial Surveys being so late. The only plausible reason given was that the final numbers had not been "conference approved" by the General Service Organization of Alcoholics Anonymous (a.k.a GSO and sometimes GSB for General Service Board of Alcoholics Anonymous).
What happened to AA Triennial Surveys and why are they so late?
