OK LisaMarie (a/k/a Danny) - Here it is, and its all yours

Five years, Vicky. Yes, I have a god in my life. AA changed it around in a number of ways. Thankfully, too, because I am talking to a minister that received several hundred thousand dollars for the consturction of a new wing to commemorate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. It was accepted with the condition that the education wing be for adult Christian education for perpetuity. It's been converted to a childs' wing.

What does this have to do with AA? Before AA, I would have handled the hurt and frustration over this incident in a completely different way. It would have been emotions first, rationale second. I am not going to ever suggest that anger, frustration, hurt or anything else that is a human emotion shouldn't be experienced and to let run its path... but I would have stayed in it to the point of a complete non-productive standstill. Today, instead of reacting adversely to threatening emails sent to us. I gave it to the professionals and let them handle it. The person responsible for them isn't who I assumed was behind it, and since the perp is thousands of miles and many time zones away, I am not concerned about it. But the old me would have shot first and asked questions later. Now I realize it was just a poor soul, acting out in hurt or frustration and there is no real reason for fear. I was also able to determine that the party I wrongfully accused is of no threat to me anymore, either, although he was for many years. Everything has an up side, Vicky, and I never believed that before AA.

But having said these things and feeling some personal triumph as the result of being in AA, there are things about it I disagree with. Had I came to AA here first, I doubt I would have stayed. But where I go sober, it was the perfect time, the right people, the right place... and it worked out.

Because I am routinely asked to prove, prove, prove, Vicky, by people that never think they should ever demonstrate anything. I don't really care, but I did wonder why you would bother calling him at all. If he did what people attribute to him, I would leave him alone.

I stayed out of all of that, but if I had someone in my midst that I thought was dangerous and capable of doing what has been attributed to Danny, I would leave him alone. You are people with families.

Not always, Cause. I would imagine that she could just post the number part that would also have the minutes. I say so because mine can pull up a cal history to one number. I would surely not suggest anyone do more than that, but I also wouldn't bother calling him at all. Most of the people here on glomming on to a drama that never included them at all. I don't understand why people never went to the police about him. If he had such an extensive record that he couldn't have gotten into the military, then I would think there would have been one person that would have come forth and pressed cahrges against him.

But Vicky was right. It had nothing to do with me. Danny and his past has also had nothing to do with her. She posted on RFR August 1 in the intro forum andprobably had never heard of him 20 days ago.

Sandy, why didn't you press charges against him if he did the things you claim? Doesn't that make a bit more sense than stalking someone for sport, but then claiming to be his victim?
