Jeez, if I had had an EDIT FUNCTION I could have corrected it.
So, is this the time to play the Royal Russian Jewess card? Let's hear what Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn did to you. Would you put him in a class with Bill Wilson? Is your complaint Bolshevik in nature? If you don't want to "throw the words on the wind", put 'em right here on the forum and let's take a look at your gripe, k? K!
EDIT EDIT EDIT!! Happy dance! This is the spelling I'm finding for your nemesis. Care to correct it - and all websites referring to him?

― Christopher Hitchens, Letters to a Young Contrarian
You have no inkling as to what I know, Ironic. What is "obvious" to you now will probably not be so "obvious" when you're 30 or 40 or 50+. You don't know what I've studied, you don't know where I've been. I daresay you don't stand for Solzhenitsin's views any more authentically than I do.
Be offended. Put flowers on his cybergrave. Weep for what you are certain is not known or practiced. When you're finished, begin living with all the traps and fears and insecurities the rest of us live with. Come back to this after a time and see if you don't find you have been presumptuous in your flip opinion.

Looks like you both spelled it the same way, Ironic.
The things people around here choose to find fault with is astounding.
It is not because the truth is too difficult to see that we make mistakes... we make mistakes because the easiest and most comfortable course for us is to seek insight where it accords with our emotions - especially selfish ones.
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
"If I forget who I am, I am myself. If I remember who I am, I am you."
She didn't spell Solzhenitsyn wrong, she spelled "Aleksandr" wrong, and yeah for me it's a problem when somebody wants to abuse quotations from such a fine source.
Ironic: You've never misspelled anything on this forum, have you? You've never abused any person, thought, concept or opinion on this forum, have you? You've never allowed for error on this forum, have you?
Bring on your denials, my Russian pretty. You will do a complete disservice to your heritage by exaggerating your tolerance.

Because you have often referred to your age. No one who is 22 or 23 is wretched-looking unless they got the shit beat out of them in childhood. You have also referred to the support your mother gives you. I have deduced that she does not beat you.
Please note that I have corrected *someone else's* spelling error in triplicate. So sorry the misspelling offended your delicate sensibilities. It was an online error which I could not correct at the time because I did not have the edit function.
“The essence of the independent mind lies not in what it thinks, but in how it thinks.”

Ironic, I already did reflect on my part in the situation. I discovered that you were correct in the spelling of Solzhenitsin's name and I amended it - PLUS I gave you credit for your super sleuthing. What else would you have me do? Got any boots that need licking? Can I wipe your tender Russian tush for you?

Lousy pedi - did you see how ragged the cuticles were and she painted the nails anyway? You can buy polishes that don't have those toxic chemicals, or you can also go with a beautiful buff.

I agree that disabling the edit function is a real pain. It was because of Danny's (Randle O.'s) stunt of posting attacks on people and then deleting them before I saw them to that he wouldn't get banned.
I also make a lot of typo mistakes, and don't see them until I have posted. I do a lot of re-editting of my posts too. Unfortunately, Drupal does not have an "edit for 5 minutes" function.
Well, I'm going to take a chance here, and re-enable the editting.

Sloganeering again, Gunthar -4? What does this slogan refer to, anyway? Is it wide open to interpretation or do you mean something specific by it?

Quotation abuse?
Honestly, there are plenty of very real abuses that merit outrage and indignation. This isn't one of them.
