It was astonishing to read what was done to make MO " media acceptable". If you painted her green, she'd look like the Grinch. Her eyebrows were a big deal because of how they photographed. Mean, ornery, angry... I had a friend that was so known for her brow work that Oprah flew her to Chicago for treatments. As for SP, I am not a fan but I think the media treatment of her was unparalled. But she can't win for anthing, no matter what she does.

She left office because her detractors made it impossible to do her job, she made millions fater leaving when being gov was COSTING her hundreds of thousands of dollars while making 100k a year. She definitely knows how to make lemonade

Why don't you read about that on THAT board, PIE? Then you will understand the rebranding of Michelle Obama and what it all took, including a softer look. I'm not the one that brought it here, only to be taken out of context. I am not the one that decided to go through 15 years of blog posts from a woman I care nothing about... Did you changed your avatar to MO for my benefit? That is the best that woman has ever looked and I liked the article, especially when she told the interviewer that she understoond her husband's vulnerabilities, and nooooo she wasn't going to share what they were with her.

I have no experience with opiates and I DO have empathy because of the experiences my friends have shared with me about theirs. She had problems with both but chose one fellowship for some obvious reasons. But it has always struck me as odd when people ended up in AA with drug problems then criticized the fellowship for only being about alcohol and not knowing what they were talkin about... That's all.

I guess it was the selective retrieving of posts that did it, PIE. After all, you'd find just as many that were critical of Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin if you had bothered to be even handed. My observations about MO were hardly original. Much as been written about grooming her to be the candidate's wife a/k/a potential Future First Lady. What really got my gourd were all the criticisms of Hillary Clinton's appearance. They used to go to Foundry Methodist Church, and she is much prettier than she photographs. At least, that was true then.

It has also been an interesting study. I am married and did spend that kind of money rather foolishly when I lived in DC. You are taking things out of context to fuel yourself. I never did get where my husband endorses an anti Muslim hate groups because he doesn't. Where did you get something such as that? You've let the ramblings of people that took a kernal of truth and twist it become your own perception.

Of couse, MO's build has to do with genetics. Have you seen her mother? I am built like mine. We have generous rear ends, too, yet we are white. What is racist about that? But you also jumped to that conclusion when I used the regional term here to describe white people. There's no pleasing you yet you won't stay away from my posts.

You guys chose the way you behaved and all over a woman that you originally honed in on because you thought I was Marietta. But that wouldn't have mattered. That I don't hate AA is reason enough. I've often said that if my experience in EP had been my first, I probably wouldn't have stayed. But you cannot accuse others of shit when you are willing to roll in it with them.

Gunthar, I have been blogging for 15 years, and I said so when I first arrived. Nothing wrong with you at all, and I am a member of any number of forums. I've noticed that you are, too. Anti came rushing back to OPF to "reveal" that I posted there and under what name when Laura Tompkins posted a piece. Why would anyone care? This is nothing new.

You'll find that I have a huge presence with regards to reviews of many kinds, home canning, soaping, investment blogs, recovery, travel, politics, adverse advertising, living off the grid, biking blogs, herbal medicine, animal rescue and even some parenting blogs. I don't really think that I differ from most people on this score, and certainly not you.
