We Know What You’re Doing: Website Exposes Facebook Stupidity. A new website "experiment," WeKnowWhatYoureDoing.com, seeks to teach people why Facebook privacy settings matter. For all the uproar you hear in the tech press about online privacy, it’s remarkable how many people violate their own privacies on a regular basis. And now a new website called “We Know What You’re Doing” seeks to expose just how foolish many people are about what they post publicly on the Web. A brief look at We Know What You’re Doing (aka WKWYD), which was launched by 18-year-old British Web designer Callum Haywood, shows just how many absurd, ridiculous, and downright idiotic things people say — publicly — on Facebook.

Good article alkie. I joined facebook 4 years ago. I wanted to try to get in touch with some old buddies. Almost everyone I was looking for was not a member. I kept getting requests to be friends with people I barely knew 20+ years ago or from people I had never met. Very strange. Another thing I noticed is that some people try to puff their lives up on FB. They act like they have it all together and things are always wonderful. I have a friend whos wife is one of these weirdos. She will post that she had the best party ever over the weekend just to find out there was no party. FB was not for me.. I deleted my account a while ago. I dont miss it. Who cares what song you want everybody to listen to when you wake up? Or what epiphany you just had or what your thought for the day is.
