It's nice to see some rational posts here, lol, although the topic is not particularly relative to AA. Reasonable discussions do happen occasionally on the OP but it's mostly a pain to filter through it all to find anything that’s not related to individual personalities. Like you pointed out (Sue), it's not just about "sides" of the AA coin. Because of the freedom of speech policy here (actually it’s more of an unregulated society to which practically any behavior is acceptable), what has evolved is a "war" of which we won’t ever find out who/how it really started. I’m sick of it all as well, have been for some time, and although I don’t post or read here as much as I used to – I’m admittingly not an innocent. I’ve gotten caught up in the mess as well, which I don’t think is the norm for me. I think it’s likely that it’s not the norm for most of us. I’d like to point out to anyone that cares, that there has been a LOT of “activity” from a few people (not going to get specific either), that most members or readers are not aware of. Much of the reason that it isn’t discussed openly has to do with privacy issues and actually respect as well - if you can believe that, lol. Anyway, when buttons get pushed there’s often going to be a reaction. This isn’t an excuse really, but it does have an impact.

I am sure that is true, Avo. One poster indicated that the chatroom over at RFR runs riot and then the participants come over to OPF to act on it. I thought RFR was established to avoid this stuff, and then comes an admission as to what goes on there. I agreed with LisaMarie that there was probably a great deal of sharing over there about certain subjects and information. It makes no sense, but it shows that no one from OPF even has to be a member there to be able to take it over.

But is that fair to Orange, whom most agree that they feel on friendly terms?

Why did you stop posting over there, Gunthar? More importantly, perhaps the question to ask is why did you start? Then you brought the site over to RFR and tried to get them to go over there to set these people straight, but only Rainbow did. Why is that a productive mindset? How long will it last, anyway? You ahve no resilience. You stomp off OPF yet your are back within 3 days. You left Craiglist on August 2. You'll go back.

I have already gotten a return on your efforts and I don't have a reason not to expect that there could be more. What did you expect to gain from those efforts?
