Why do you come here?
If you know that this is an AA critical website, what is your purpose for being here?
I know that I come here to interact with like-minded people who have either left AA, or are in the process of leaving AA. It wasn't easy for me to leave AA with all of the suggestions that I would either wind up in jails, institutions, or dead. Interacting with people who have had the same experience as I have validates my experience, and helps me to erase years of learned helplessness and self doubt.
Why in the world would you want to interfere with the deprogramming process?

You are one sick dude! Is ""If it's strong it won't die" what you say when you bring prospect back to the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous for indoctrination?

FTF,
FTF,
have you ever been the survivor of a suicide death? Please be advised that members of this forum are survivors of suicide victims. Please be advised that members on this forum have friends & family that have been tragically & irreversibly harmed by AA & NA. You might want to consider what people have endured & suffered before you come to this forum to have some "playful fun". Hate is a powerful emotion usually caused by intense tragedies & huge losses. You may want to consider some common decency & some common respect when you come to this forum & some common sense. You have evaluated & judged all members of this forum as haters who hate for reasons you have determined are not valid. You know nothing & are assuming a lot. You are presuming & it is ignorant. Please go find somewhere else to rattle cages. Learn & practice some manners & common courtesy & respect. You seem to think you are cute, there isn't anything cute about suicide or dead addicts & dead addict kids & brain washed cult members & coercion & manipulation & exploiting. Really, grow up & get a life or take a class in manners & appropriate behavior.

There is no exclusive honor
There is no exclusive honor about surviving someone's death by suicide. I have survived deaths of friends by suicide and don't attach any particular significance or merit or veneration to it. This is a new low for you, patti, playing the suicide survivor card.
Every single individual who chooses to commit suicide does not do so within the context of the 12 steps. Look around if you can. You're the one who could use a little maturity on the subject, patti. You need to quit co-opting the act of suicide as an exclusive response to participation in AA. And keep in mind: suicide is a choice. The only person, place or thing responsible for death by suicide is the person committing the act.
"Get a life"? "Take a class in manners and appropriate behavior"? "You know nothing"? A trip to the mirror might do you some good, patti.

Unfortunately AA makes suicide as a choice look a little better
with the AA preaching that you are powerless and your life is unmanageable and you need to do all the steps and god will fix crap. AA is just bad voodoo that claims magic will happen if you work all the steps and work a rigourus program. When it doesn't work for some that buy into the AA voodoo magic they decide to take the final solution. AA pushes some folks to that solution.

I want to read more about the "irreversible" part. And are you suggesting, patti, that every single person on this forum has lost a friend, pal, loved one, boss, or know-it-all-boss-of-everything to suicide or, more specifically, lfop's pet cause, "death by AA"? Let's explore that for a minute.

Isn't it possible?
that resenting AA, in all of it's failings, could be a healthy experience for those who want to relieve themselves of all of the mental masturbation that AA has to offer?
Again... I have decided to leave AA because I believe that AA is a religious cult dressed up to look like a treatment for alcoholism. AA was not helpful to me in my recovery.... In fact, it held me back.
Why would you want to interfere with those who want to leave? I can see that you said that it is a personal failing. Could you please explain exactly what you mean by that?

why are you referring to ex AA members as prejudiced? No ex AA member is prejudiced. They have knowledge & experience of AA & have negative opinions regarding AA's ineffectiveness & failure rate. Also they have negative feelings regarding Wilson's anecdotal psycho babble being dangerous & life threatening & detrimental to one's mental, emotional & physical health. In order to be prejudiced knowledge & experience can't exist & both exist here.

"Moral Failings"??? WHERE?
Exactly WHICH of the 12 Steps explicitly mentions "moral failings"? I am aware of one that mentions a "fearless moral inventory", hence "suggesting" one JUDGE oneself for what MAY BE good or bad actions in ones life. But "failings"? Or as Melanie Solomon points out in "AA Not The Only Way", Step 4 "sponsors" only want you to focus on your "wrongs". What about when you do something RIGHT? (Like stay sober another day!). Why exactly does this "4th Step" focus on "wrongness" "failing", and especially JUDGEMENT?
