Stepper Spiritual Growth

How do stepper truebelievers measure spiritual growth, is it purely how long you have been in a stepper cult? Or can you grow spiritually faster by attending three or four meetings a day? Can you overtake somebody who has been in AA a lot longer than you by going to every meeting you can and getting more spiritual growth? Can it be possible to overtake your sponsor in things pertaining to the spiritual and thereby become your sponsors sponsor and listen to his/her step 5 and then get your own back and tell everybody in the home group their darkest secrets?

Time is generally considered the thing to aspire to in steppism, with time comes greatness in stepperland, but could it be possible to speed stepper guruship up by doing overtime on the old step working? If you just kept working the steps all day (you could admit the exact nature of your wrongs to another human being on the bus for instance, it doesn't say it has to be your sponsor in the BB, thus not wasting time travelling to meetings, but getting some extra step work in on the way and thus more growth in the old spiritual department)

What I am basically asking is, can you fast track stepper spiritual growth by parroting stepper BS more often than other steppers?

You would obviously have to take the cotton wool out of your mouth and put it back in your ears

Steppers can go on AA survivor sites and spout slogans, post pictures of them self with top level AA prospectors and enablers of the 13th Step like Clancy (Midtown comes to mind) and push AA cult literature like "Pass it on", "Living Sober", "As Bill Sees it", etc......

The cult of Alcoholics Anonymous uses these fantasy books to indoctrinate people into the cult. AA also uses subliminal messages to enforce this in the prospect hunters they are training. Note the water mark of the pages of the AA El Paso Central Office, you can barely see the names of these books, but they are there. http://aaelpaso.org/

What does "spiritual growth" (whatever that is supposed to mean) have to do with drinking alcohol/not drinking alcohol?

Maybe you will grow too big to be able to get into a bar or supermarket or something and then not be able to drink.......unless they take the roof off and lower you in, but that could cost a lot in crane hire and whatnot.

I'm not really sure, it must have something to do with it, unless AA is all BS

Whenever I hear the word "spiritual", I reach for my gun. . . . .;)

Spiritual - the word used in AA to mean practicing strange ritual ceremonies in church basements and have the court system mandate people to them circumventing the establishment clause of the first amendment of the Constitution of the United States about the separation of Church and State by using word games.

Spiritual: the herd mentality that allows otherwise average humans to become robotic spouters of cultist bullshit and worshippers of false idols. But at least it's not religious...

NoAAUK asks: "How do stepper truebelievers measure spiritual growth ...?" Staying vertical. Enjoying life. Unlike some dour sourpusses here on OPF. LOL!

You would obviously have to take the blinders off of your eyes and open your mind. LOL!

“You can close your eyes to the things you do not want to see, but you cannot close your heart to the things you do not want to feel.”

I didn't notice many people enjoying life in AA. They were all obsessing about imaginery character defects and worrying about when they were next going to drink and go to jail, an institution or die

You need to have a real morbid type of personality to enjoy those creepy cult indorctrination sessions they pass off as meetings.

Only one problem (but it is a big one)- AA does not work to help alcoholics overcome their addiction to alcohol any better than no treatment-and AA can cause harm to some.
