I knew that nearly everything I experienced in three years surrounded by AAs was crazy. I finally left. I am not in prison, dead, and feel better about myself after only one week. You can leave...
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 09:25
Congrats spk! I feel better also. More confident, higher self esteem, less confused and I have less cravings as well.

I bless you with the holy gestalt of happiness, freedom, and authenticity and pray to the great gestalt geezus that you never feel the need to go back to the cult again.....
sometimes we find ourselves in a weak moment.....and find ourselves saying..."oh it wasn't that bad...just one more... I could attend just one more time! I mean it isnt going to kill me!!"
But be strong! think of the great gestalt geezus in the ocean and in the caves and living in the trees....and sing the free song with the breeze!

to argue. What else is there to do? Discuss vehemently ...
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 09:29
There's already a brew-ha-ha fixin' to erupt over on "The Books that Shaped America" thread if arguments or vehement discussion is your bag. I'm personally outraged that "Goodnight Moon" made the list. What a bunch of propaganda that shit is.

Rattlesnake in the driveway. Decapitated it with a shovel; seemed most expedient measure and means -- capture and relocation dicey; simply ignore unconscionable; kiss and cuddle plain crazy. So killed it and tossed its bisected corpse in a thicket of seep willow in a ditch across the way. What's any of this to do with blustery weather on Jupiter? Nothing, thus I feel terrible.
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 11:04
Rattlesnsakes.... I don't know where you are, Budd, but we have them around here. I haven't seen any, but I wonder if getting the dog vaccinated for it would be prudent...

Southern California rattlers taste ok, I have never tried NM rattler. Do you serve that w/sherry?
Stay away from those snakes in Vermont. I heard Vermont snakes are cunning, baffling and powerful. Major bad mojo.
Wed, 06/27/2012 - 00:19
So all this spiritual stuff you like filling your posts with is just standard stepper cult BS, the sort of garbage you parrot at cult indoctrination sessions?
You don't give a toss about that sadistic dickhead bragging he decapitated a rattlesnake with a shovel, rather that capture and relocate?
Spirituality is just a cult word to be parroted by you cult groupers in meetings. Same as the rest of the shit you constantly parrot……….its really all just meaningless woffle to you lot as well.
Steppers ……spiritual? Don’t make me laugh

I am not certain that I have it in me to try to "capture and release" a rattlesnake. I don't know if Billy was in danger or if a pet was, but he feels badly enough about it. My opinion doesn't matter, NoAA. Ask me after I have had a similar experience. And I could. We live in the same part of the country.
Thu, 06/28/2012 - 06:20
"I don't know if Billy was in danger or if a pet was"
Why did the rattlesnake have a shovel as well?
Thu, 06/28/2012 - 06:57
NoAA, I really don't know what part of England you live in, but in the American SW, rattesnakes are considered very dangerous. While they do not carry shovels, they are in fact armed. I don't fault someone for their fear.
Sat, 06/30/2012 - 06:04
Do they kill as many people as AA?
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 11:36
taste like chicken.
And they are a free lunch.

I am meaty and firm. And the answer is ?. . . . . . come on help me. Shit I don't know. All that I know is that LUUUUV bacon.

next time you eat snake I suggest you don't eat the bones.

The KING of loose association. Job well done brother!!
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 19:03
is rarely 'on point', friend. I suppose one could make pro- or con- argument regarding AA for just about anything and, while I prefer looseness to a firm, chafing, gritty, painful clutch under most circumstances, I do not want to come to flailing blows over this issue, mostly aiming to please, but will accommodate if such suits. Dukes up and hollering voice all limbered.
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 20:03
Just excuse the collateral damage. There is no malice towards you as a person or persons? :) Sorry if you got in the way. Peace
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 20:55
I deem humans, with their overblown concerns regarding pitifully petty facts, beneath contempt; but I love you with all the spare love I have to lavish. Snakes though, just trying to slither out a humble existence, who'm I to judge and execute? Pocket gophers (rodents generally), and most insects: fuck 'em.
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 20:04
cause and effect....that old snake wasn't hurting you....so you chopped his head off and now you feel terrible.
The buddha was right!
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 20:51
the dispiriting consequence of action. In the future I will do nothing, even if a throbbing cobra infests my trousers.
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 11:09
Billy says; Nothing, thus I feel terrible.
JJ say; I hear ya billy. I used to think that if you came across a rattler you were supposed to kill it. I regret killing a couple to this day. I would never do that again. They have a right to live also. imo
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 19:10
I was in flip flops when called out, and the shovel was handy, didn't mess around -- did the deed lickety split. Alternatives weren't really that cumbersome (as afterthought), and when the poor thing squirmed at first touch of steel, then with the writhing death throes and squirting snake blood, I felt like absolute shit. Life tends to suck anyway you live it, unless its unquestioningly. What do you imagine snake consciousness is like -- do snakes wonder?

Mack Wolford, one of the most famous Pentecostal serpent handlers in Appalachia, was laid to rest Saturday at a low-key service at his West Virginia church a week after succumbing to a snake bite that made headlines across the nation.
Several dozen family, friends and members of Wolford's House of the Lord Jesus church in tiny Matoaka filled the simple hall for the service, which lasted slightly more than an hour. At the request of pastor's widow, Fran Wolford, media were forbidden inside the building.
Wolford's own dad was a serpent handler who died from a snake bite in 1983.

It is obvious you are very angry and upset that we didn't end up in jails institutions or death from the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous. Why do you come here? It is obvious you are a disturbed individual who is trying to track down the survivors of your death cult. It's a good thing you didn't confide in Trisha/Danny/Calinda/PKATS like Clara did or your web of deceit would be exposed big time. How do you feel about a "fellow" AA cult member giving up information in an attempt to attack the survivors of the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous?
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 21:12
JR Harris complains: "It is obvious you are very angry and upset that we didn't end up in jails institutions or death ...." Could say the same thing about you. It is obvious you are very angry and upset that Alcoholics Anonymous members didn't end up in jails institutions or death. Very angry and upset that Alcoholics Anonymous members are still among the living and breathing. And that they visibly present here on Orange Papers Forum enjoying life; happy, joyous, and free.
If you really and truly "escaped", then why are you "here"? Living and breathing Alcoholics Anonymous day in and day out. Face it, you are still trapped and never "escaped" at all. "Join me. It is your destiny!” -Darth Vader LOL!
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 21:21
Well hater of AA escapees, the people here have escaped from the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous, but you come here for what reason? It does not appear you are drunk posting like Clara or Becket, but why do you come here except to hate on the people who have escaped from the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous?
Please note I did not mention the schizophrenic posts of Danny/Trisha/Calinda/PKATS etc..., that is another issue....
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 22:12
Free at last free at last thank you Geezus I'm free at last!
No jails, no institutions, and no death for me!!

Can I get a mediator to decide for me what I can or cannot be reading on these jack-off recovery sites, please?

I think the governments want to get as many people as possible addicted to as many substances as possible because they control the drug and alcohol trade and it's big business. They also control poppy fields in Afghanistan and other locations. The War on Drugs is a hoax. It's all about making money. The prison system is big business, too, and they run that. Everything is about money. Everything.
Plus, the more people who are addicted to more and more substances, including substances distributed by Big Pharma (which is also controlled by the govt), the more "out of it" and unaware the population becomes, the more oppressed the population can become, and their political agenda of corporatism (possibly fascism) can creep right in and take over while most everybody doesn't even notice because they're all doped up.

"Everything is about money. Everything."
Art? Art is about money?
What are you doing back here?

"Everything is about money. Everything."
Art? Art is about money?
What are you doing back here?
Art? Art is about money?
Yes. Cost money to create it. Canvases and paint are expensive. Framing is expensive. VERY. Cost money to show it. Entry fees, etc. Cost money to promote it. Lots of money. Postcards, flyers, event posters, ads, website hosting, etc. Most artists want to sell it = money, so they can make a living doing what they love.
What am I doing back here? Beats me. My prerogative. I felt like it. What are you doing trying to argue with me? Just because the title of the thread is about arguing, you think that's OK?
I DO amuse myself.
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 17:40
Painting is not the only form of art.
Get a benefactor.
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 18:10
ALL forms of art cost money to create and promote. Well, you could make art from discarded items from a junkyard (and I LOVE that type of art using recycled materials), but still, if you're at all interested in selling it, you need to promote it and promotion isn't free. *shrug*
Everything... yes EVERYthing has some connection to money.
Personally, I'm not a fan of money, which may be why I don't have any. The world runs on GREED. I hate hatred but I truly hate greed.
I've had no luck finding a sponsor but maybe one day, I'll find one. I create art because I LOVE to and I have to because it's part of my being, it's part of who I am. It still costs me money to do it and I rarely sell any of it.
But if you want to debate whether money rules the world, you're on. I'll take on that debate with you, even though I know that you sometimes use tools of belittlement and degrading words to try to "WIN" an argument. For your information, those types of uses of verbiage don't work with me and actually make you look quite ill informed.
But at any rate, if you'd like to debate the fact that the world is run on money and greed, I'll do it with you. Just keep your personal attacks underneath your tongue because I'm not interested in hearing them.
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 19:38
I don't want to debate. I made an observation.
"I hate hatred" - quite a concept.
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 19:41
Wow! That's something new. Congratulations!
Glad you liked my line. It's poetry. *smile*
Tue, 06/26/2012 - 19:56
a concept, or you 'observing' anything matters to anything but yourself............. Maybe. Think again Becket. Boooyeeee do I love bacon. You are showing your limitations now Come on girl gather yourself. You got more than this! ?

"WIN" an argument
One argument that becket can't possibly win.......that AA's step 7 works LOL how ridiculous can you possibly get :-)
