Dr. Bob’s grave is located in Mount Peace Cemetery, Akron’s second-oldest cemetery. The cemetery is located at 183 Aqueduct St., a few blocks north of West Market Street.
Cemetery officials said the site attracts people throughout the year who want to pay their respects to the Akron doctor.
One of the most popular events of Founders’ Day is a motorcycle procession to the grave and a memorial service. That will take place June 13 {2010 at time of article}at 7:30 a.m.
Signs from the main entrance to the cemetery direct visitors to the grave. Many AA visitors leave their Sobriety Coins, which are given to AA members to mark the anniversary of the day they stopped drinking, on the gravestone in tribute to Dr. Bob.
The cemetery also features a bronze plaque with the Serenity Prayer on it not far from the grave. Adjacent to that is a columbarium, which holds cremains. The columbarium is dedicated to AA and Dr. Bob and allows those wanting to have their final resting place near Dr. Bob to have their wishes granted.
Cemetery officials said the cemetery is open from sunrise to sunset every day. Visitors also are welcome to stop at the office for more detailed directions.

Beckett,
Beckett,
don't know why you just have to have this info, can only surmise it's another control tactic. Okay, I'll help you get off this one time. Was with an old friend who is seriously brain washed & insisted since we were in Vermont, we just had to just had to go to both the grave & the Wilson shrine, the hotel & bar & his grandparents house, we were even in Wilson's childhood bedroom. One just hasn't lived until they see that bedroom. The grave yard was very small too small to drive inside. Parking is bad. Two small white head stones, Wilson & Lois. There were a few sobriety coins tossed on the dirt by Wilson's grave. No flowers, no nothing, except a few coins. The graves were abandoned & neglected. Other graves there had flowers, flags, mementos. The other graves must of had people who had been loved & were missed. No cult members are getting to the graves on a regular basis & remembering Wilson & Lois with flowers, etc. Beckett, you got your way, you should be satisfied now. You know what the grave looks like, you know where it is, just as you know all about the hotel/shrine, Wilson's grandparents house, etc. Why you would think I or anyone else would lie about being @ the grave & the hotel/shrine is out there? Why would anyone lie about something so stupid as pretending to be somewhere like that? It's not like I claimed to have dinner with the Pope or drop by the Oval Office whenever I feel like it. I wrote I had been to Wilson's shrine & grave, why you were suspicious of that is out there.

they were not on vacation, they lived in rented rooms & apartments in the area, they had no life, no identity, no jobs, no money, no nothing outside of AA & volunteering @ the shrine. They were probably all on welfare or disability, although they all appeared physically capable of holding a job @ McDonald's or being roofers. Most AA members in my area are roofers, the least skilled of construction jobs. These people were losers & it is not dumb to observe that that is who AA attracts & keeps, people who are easy to exploit & manipulate, who do not have a self identity, who make AA their life. It is cult exploitation & abuse, their appearances reflected the abuse & unhealthiness of belonging to the cult of AA & having no self identity or dignity, no self pride or interest in their appearance or much else. They were losers, Clara, & they would have a shot @ a better life outside of the cult of AA.

Roofers are scum without any identity - is this what you're saying? Oh, I guess they're scum until you need a roof repair. You think roofing takes no skill? Have you ever tried roofing yourself, or are you just tossing out character abuses for the sheer joy of it?
Let me get this straight, patti: Bill Wilson had "no job" so he was scum. Roofers have jobs, but they, too, are scum. Who makes the cut in your nasty little world?

Bill Wilson had no "job" except the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous
Bill Wilson conned the widow Helen Griffith out of his compound now called Stepping Stones with the help of Joan C, another cult member. The cult compound was paid for from funds from the Alcoholics Foundation which eventually became Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. currently residing at the Interchurch Center in New York. Not only did the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous procure and pay for the Stepping Stones Compound, it was the hunting ground for Bill Wilson to 13th Step young women, one of who is named Helen Wynn that he had shacked up 15 minutes from the marital compound.
Bill Wilson was a crooked evangelist who didn't work, he just talked, smoked cigarettes, drank coffee and chased women at the expense of the Fellowship of the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous.

"I tell you not to make these sort of claims without documentation", another order, read your writing, "I tell you", you try to tell people what to do, think & feel all the time, Beckett. "because they are strongly regarded as invalid on this forum", by you Beckett, again you are demanding that I comply with your requests for documentation, you do this all the time on this forum. This is controlling, that's your thing, you are a control freak. What do you want from me, who you are, how you act, the demands & orders you write are on you, not on me or anyone else. "if you want your points to be taken seriously", now you are attempting to tell me what I want & giving me orders on how to get what I want, how do you know what I want? This is classic control freak behavior, you are textbook. It's all about what you want, your orders, your name calling, your childishness & what you want is to control others. You somehow in your head think you can demand & order & any one is going to comply, & when they don't you try other tactics to feel that you are controlling others. "scrutiny" another control tactic & demand, you order that others measure up to your scrutiny. You are all about control Beckett, that's why you are on this forum, it's who & what you are about.

My writing regarding roofers
My writing regarding roofers was that it is an unskilled occupation, the same as flipping burgers @ McDonald's, I did not write that roofers or McDonald employees are scum. You are grasping & lying. I wrote that the members @ the shrine looked physically capable of working. I wrote that roofers were the primary occupation of AA members in my area. You know that cults can manipulate people with weaknesses much more successfully than they can manipulate people who have education, jobs & a life. The AA members I met @ the shrine that day, were unemployed, they were renters, they lived across the street in a house that rented rooms. They probably are on welfare or disability, how else would they pay room rent, without jobs, they probably do get a monthly check. I did not write that if someone does not own a home, they have no identity, people who rent have identities, cult members do not. Every thing I wrote was about being a cult member, these guys had no jobs, no life outside of hanging @ the shrine, they were in their 40's & 50's & were not home owners, they rented rooms. If they weren't in the cult of AA, maybe they would focus their time & energy into getting jobs & having a home & life of their own. You deflected, lied & twisted my writing into a derail & non existent issue. This is what you do to be in control & to try to control what my self & others write. You & Clara both know that AA controls weak people, that is who stays & does not flee & reject. And you & Clara both know that being culted up, instead of having a job, a life, an identity, more in life to do & experience instead of making coffee @ the shrine & living in a rented room, is abnormal & sad. All cult members are sad, Beckett & you know it.
