Odd reactions. Just because the owner of the site has asked that people don't attack each other on a personal basis (which is considered good general netiquette and always has been), people are saying that they can't say words like shit or fuck or whatever.... That's NOT what he said. He said don't attack each other. It's really pretty simple.

I mean, he's not talking about censoring your words, for crissake. Read the text. It doesn't say anything about word censorship.

It's called RESPECT. You can respect people and still curse all you want. He just doesn't want name-calling directed at PEOPLE.

Well, the no personal attacks rule is something that most forums observe. In fact, I'd say the majority do. Still, it's hard when things get heated as they do between AA proponents and anti-AA people. I know I've had to take a break from here, simply because I don't want to be around AA people. Now, that is not a personal attack, just a statement of fact. It's aimed at no one in particular, just all AAers in general. Or shall I say the way they think, what they do, what they say, etc.

this thread by an Anti member has been an attack. I don't care if you think you are being honest or stating facts. Until you can stop with your careless and reckless attacks against others this site will never change while most of you are here.
Many of you have done nothing but treat this site like your own personal journal, this isn't a diary where you make the rest of us suffer under the weight of your personal problems.
Remember justme, Avo, Kate, Steve, Causy, JR, ect.... you folks are entitled to nothing more than Clara, becket, BillyBudd, Alkie, JJ or myself....NOTHING!!! So get off your high horses and knock off your incessant whining and act like adults that can carry on a conversation rationally and civilly.
I would not doubt that this is exactly what you did when all of you first approached AA. Your expectation of AA was based upon false information and fantasy. When you couldn't get your unrealistic needs met, you went off and blamed it on AA and the members. AA was not entitled to make you feel secure, that was your job to learn.
This is my opinion.

Yet I'll play and see your delusion to think that they are both different , REAL AA vs FAKE AA , though both are the same ,lol for sure. Well Mr. AA aka danny bennison , how come the REAL AA dosen't put an end to the FAKE/rehab AAs. you know like take a stand ,take them fake AA's to court .
