Clara, you claimed that your husband was able to block comments from a couple of forum contributors. Can you please ask your husband how this was done OR ask him to share with us the process?

Does Clara's husband actually exist?
I rather like this idea of Clara as the surrendered wife, who, as “Vince’s” third AA wife, will allow her husband to tell her what she can and can’t read on a forum she devotes her life to, without her having any say in the matter.
I also don’t believe a word of it, as Clara is somewhat less than rigorously honest (for example, declaring at one point that she no longer attends AA meetings and then later protesting that she absolutely does). She is clearly using this pretence of blocking people’s comments as an excuse not to reply to anyone who calls her on her bullshit.
There is another possibility, however, which is that this wonderful controlling and 13th-stepping husband is actually a figment of Clara’s fevered imagination. Does the wonderful Mr Clara really exist, or is he a fantasy figure? Do they really start every morning with readings from AA texts, which makes up for her having left AA? Was the ex-wife really the evil scheming drunkard (spied on by Mr Clara) that Clara makes her out to be? None of this sounds very much like the way any normal people would run their lives, and more like some kind of masturbatory nightmare.
Just my take on the situation. And don’t worry if I’ve gone too far, everyone. Apparently Clara – ex-AA member and narcissist extraordinaire - won’t be reading this, as Mr Clara is apparently censoring what she can and can’t read. (But if you’re reading this, Mr Clara, and you do exist – hello and welcome!)

hs, I find it hard to believe a wife in this day and age would allow her husband to change her account settings and not be outraged, but who knows anymore. But Mr. Clara, I would add that if you're reading this that you perhaps might want to look up the phrase, "male chauvinist pig".

I have my doubts it can be done. I know you can block certain sites, and may even be able to block certain words in searches. It's called parental controls and it's not meant for adults. But I have my doubts that you can block a particular person's posts without blocking the whole page. Perhaps there is a way, but if she didn't ask him to do it, it's very controlling. BTW, how do I get blocked?

Clara, the way for mature adults to not view objectionable material is to refrain from going to those sites. I personally find porn objectionable so I don't go to porn sites. By doing so, I've never had any of that kind of content on my computer. It really is that simple.
