Are 12 Step Rehabs and Counselors enabling the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous to make people hit bottom and become nonfunctional?

One problem with the Minnesota Model of Addiction Recovery devised by Hazelden (an offshoot of Bill Wilson worship that is in denial about it) is that it often requires the need for some form of rehab either on site for 28 days or as an out patient basis. The main problem with this is that they teach Bill Wilson philosophy so that it can be used as an adjunct and aftercare of their process of making someone hit bottom so that they will loose all of their money and become a low bottom drunk.

What are the dangers and benefits of protecting the Alcoholic? Are you an Enabler? Are you in Denial?

One of the biggest issues that is highlighted by Alcoholics Anonymous and the Al-Anon family groups of Bill Wilson design is the families tendency to protect the "Alcoholic" from loosing their job and becoming unfunctional. They call this enabling and denial. The enabling issue has to do with helping the Alcoholic live their lives as best as possible and denial has to do with the tendency to claim that there is not a problem.

"95% out of a 100 leave AA because, they either don't need it, want it or still feel like partying, 5% hang around because they realized it is helping them."

Is this a true statement? Is it just another myth propagated by AA members to explain why so many people run from the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous? Is it a canned speech of the evangelists of Alcoholics Anonymous telling people that if you leave you will end up in relapse?

If no one ever made a dime off of Alcoholics Anonymous, where did Bill Wilson get his cigarette money from?

It is already well know that Bill Wilson was not a "stock broker" and never sold any stock or made any stock deals except for the stock for the "100 Man Corporation" that paid for the Stepping Stones Compound in Westchester county and his mistress. The truth is simple, Bill Wilson made a lot of money off of Alcoholics Anonymous and after his death, so did his mistress Helen Wynn. Why do members of the AA faith always lie about it?

The newest tactic of the Narcissistic Alcoholics Anonymous members trying to shut down the conversation on the Orange Papers Forum - the "No Click Zone" of Ted

As many of you may have already noticed, our newest AA Troll, Ted has been placing elements over the front page on the Orange Papers Forum which prevents people from clicking on the individual blogs and viewing to add comments. This is typical of the more dangerous and narcissistic members of Alcoholics Anonymous. Do not judge them all by Ted's actions, 95% of them aren't this way. But it should be enough to make you understand that you don't want to be around that 5% that do. Stay away from the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous.

What would be the best nationally syndicated reality TV show for Alcoholics Anonymous guru's to portray their EGO driven attitudes, Jerry Springer or Steve Wilkos? Dr. Drew is already portraying and killing many of the indoctrinates chosen to plea for more Bill Wilson style therapy on shows such as A&E's "Intervention", but what is the next level in gladiator style "treatment" devised by the Recovery Industry cartel that is bilking billions from insurance companies worldwide? May the best ring master of the gladiator death cult of Alcoholics Anonymous win!

The newest psychological and technical Alcoholics Anonymous terrorist member on the Orange Papers Forum - The Story of Ted.

The newest psychological and technical Alcoholics Anonymous terrorist member on the Orange Papers Forum has emerged with egotistical and psychopathic tendencies trying to shut down conversation on the Orange Papers Forum. Being a member for a little over a week now, Ted has taken it upon himself and his narcissistic EGO to use tricks reminiscent of websites that promote "Quack Medicine" and may in fact work in that industry.

Can someone who hasn't been to an AA meeting for 20 years even know what goes on at an Alocholics Anonymous ritual ceremony today?

http://orange-papers.org/forum/comment/56204#comment-56204

I haven't been to a meeting in 20 years, NoAAUK. Even back then I heard "don't get into a new relationship within the first year", but I had also read the Big Book and I knew damn well that was not part of the program.

As it went, I did not start up any new relationship until year nine. It wasn't because of anything anyone said or didn't say to me. It's because I wasn't interested.

You people can think for yourselves, right?

5. They are boosting their sociopath EGO.

TheFix explains why Alcoholics Anonymous can become a dangerous obsession - Aug. 2012

We've all seen and experienced the fanatical Alcoholics Anonymous member. From the 90 day wonders trained in 12 Step Rehabs at about $1000 a day to the court coerced members who do it to avoid jail time, to the sociopath and psychopaths who turn to the internet to get their internet EGO fix, the fact is that you can easily overdose on Alcoholics Anonymous and spend the rest of your life defending the scripture of an adulterous traveling salesman pretending to be a stock broker called Bill Wilson.
