This diet is perfect but the people who follow it are imperfect, that's why most people on this diet gain weight.

What exactly happens between the court order or intervention when someone goes kicking and screaming to attend AA, and then a one day later 'contract' that the person of interest has apparently agreed to do 'whatever it takes'?!?

I had this line dropped on me during my coerced attendance and attempted conversion, but I do not remember ever entering said contract.

Did I miss the 'miracle'?!?

Is this part of their 'spiritual awakening'?!?

A quick historical review. This explains the case of Michael Chomentowski, the emergence of Dr. Thomas Szasz as a foil to the outrageous claims of the psychological industry, and the industry's continuing attempt to stifle his work.

The media, talking heads, and society has rightly focused a lot of attention on the recent mass shootings. Most of the attention is going towards the banning or control of assault weapons and adding real teeth to the mental health system.

There are very real problems with both fronts.

It is time for other religious institutions to be forced to release all their factual inside information of predators hunting in their ranks.

'The Master' is a new film coming out, perhaps one might be able to see what happens when a religion runs amok, and the characters learn how to profit from their prophecy.

From the 'anonymous people' that clara has for some reason added to the signature line below the crap she writes. I did only click on it with the hope that clara may have restored a hint of sanity and was promoting some things she had learned here about the complete and disasterous failure of the AA faith and the recovery industry.

This 'film' appears to be a grouping of everone who has ever been in front of a camera or has some title to evangelize for the AA faith. It appears to be yet another infomercial for all things steptard.

If an individual like James Holmes shared violent and dangerous intentions at an AA meeting, would he have been reported to law enforcement authorities?

I think not.

We continue to see cases of predators hunting on the rooms, grooming and stalking their prey and sometimes the children of their prey.

I submit that members aware of the criminal activity should also be held accountable. If someone in the AA rooms admits to criminal actions, others in the rooms have a responsibility to report that to law enforcement authorities.
